Our whale-watching plan is designed for the sole purpose of seeing these giant marine mammals. The tour takes place along the coast of Cabo Corrientes, ideal for this activity, as it is the entry route of the Humpback Whales that are migrating to “La Ensenada de Utría” (a National Park). These whales like the Colombian Pacific coast for breeding and giving birth. The first sighting is achieved during the first hour; thereafter the aim is to approach slowly to the recommended distance for such sightings (approximately 50 meters or 164 feet) where you can appreciate their magnificence; the engines are turned off to not disturb them in their breeding period. If you get lucky, you can see them playing around, jumping or performing courtship rituals.
